Register with the Alabama High School Rodeo Association or Alabama Junior High School Rodeo Association for the upcoming season. New and returning contestants begin by requesting the current membership packet.
The NHSRA membership portal opens for the new season on August 1. Some state associations, including Alabama, begin their state registration process before National registration opens.
Each athlete must have an individual NHSRA account and membership number. NHSRA registration must be completed before the athlete competes.

Membership Costs

The association fee is due when the membership packet is received.
Birth certificates, report cards, and all forms are uploaded through the athlete's NHSRA account.
Registration Process
Complete the short request form with the athlete, parent or guardian, and Cinch shirt information.
The Alabama Association membership fee is due when the packet is requested.
Complete the required forms and obtain all required athlete, parent, school official, and notary signatures.

All forms, supporting documents, National registration, and dues must be completed before the athlete may participate in a rodeo.
If you competed with AHSRA last season, we will match your request with your existing athlete record whenever possible. Returning contestants must still request a membership packet for the new season.
New contestants are welcome. We will guide you through the steps needed to register with AHSRA or AJHSRA.
